SM Beauty Buys

Don't you love it when Metro Manila is like a laid back city in a far away province? Staying put here during this whole long weekend is such a bliss because heavy traffic does not exist! Hoooray! But yes, I will miss your hustle bustle crazy world in the next few days. Remember, it is your "chaotic" atmosphere that drove me here! So Metro Manila, just chill out as you'd be working round the clock especially this Christmas season!

So this long weekend, I tagged along with Levy's family. Last Thursday was a "feast day" with lechon de leche, bulalo from Tagaytay, meaty rellenong bangus, buttered crabs, garlic shrimps, and Banaple's to-die-for cake (I miss out the name,sorry!) for our lunch. Ah, goodbye diet!!! We also booked for a last full show of Skyfall so we drained our time going for window shopping from SM Makati to Greenbelt 5!

I spared myself from buying clothes as I just recently stuffed my closet from Forever 21. This time, I "relaxed" by stepping into the spacious and very well lit area of the SM beauty section. The place is such a sweet harbor to beauty and wellness enthusiasts! Just by plain digging up on random products from various shelves already gives my body a different kind of energy. True that, the power of vanity!

There's really no critical level on my vanity kit now so what I purchased were small, nice-to-have stuff. Here are they:

I. E.l.f.Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder

When you hit the search button of Youtube with "NARS Orgasm dupe" in it, you will see that this product comes first in the list. I remembered this while scrolling through the shelf. At Php 249.75, I think it's not a bad buy even though it won't give me that NARS effect. We'll see.

II. Marionaud N38 Slanted Eyeline and Eyeshadow Double Sided Brush

I am currently into my quest for a perfect eyebrow shape and arch (thus the endless Youtub-ing)
 and I saw in the videos that this type of brush helps much. We'll see again. :)

III. Tony Moly Cats Wink Mascara

 
I am so disappointed with my E.l.f. mascara purchase last time that I decided to get another one from other brands and here this is what caught my eye. The fierce cat face, that is. Classic example of buying because of packaging!

OK random though. I just remembered now from watching Showtime last time that one banana is called "a finger of banana" and five bananas are called "a hand of banana". I just knew it now. Coolness!

I'm kind of excited to try out these products and give my take on them in the coming weeks. :)

Celeteque 3-Step Skin Care (in minis!)

When I started exploring the world of make ups, I honestly cut the ties in really caring about my face. Once I am too vain with my face that I see to it that I cleanse, tone, and moisturize twice a day. I take vitamin E tablets to maintain a healthy and radiant skin, and I put on minimal foreign substances on my face. Pulled to the world of make ups, I ignored these simple skin care routines because hey, there are BB creams which could instantly even out my untamed face, concealers that could hide my impurities in a snap, foundations to exude a seemingly glowing skin, and the list goes on and on. It is actually a chicken and egg thing. Was it because I found little impurities which were not solved by my simple regimen that caused me to explore make ups? Or is it because I was too excited with make ups which made me forget how to take care of my face? It all boils down to a common denominator - that is if I look at the mirror "raw" I am not happy as how my face become too untoned and too dependent on make ups.

It is for this reason that I wanted to strictly reinforce my old habits. But losing in touch with them for quite some time now makes the choosing of my facial wash, toner, and moisturizer too difficult for me. I once use Pond's products but seeing the wiiiddddeee array of varieties makes me dizzy.

Then upon lurking into the shelves of Watsons, I found Celeteque products in minis! Just as what I need, three products in little tubes which is perfect for my "experimentation" stage. I don't know if it will work for me but then again at the price of 149 Php for all the three tiny tubes, I'd say that I won't be wasting that much money if they won't work well on me. 

I have used them for two days now and have not much to say on the effect as it is too soon to tell. But my face is behaving a bit good today and my zits had dried up. I hope to see more positive results in the coming days and yes, expect an EDIT of this post when I have some things to comment on these products!

Myra Vita Glow and Etude House Color Me Nude

I’m blogging straight from Puerto Prinsesa! I really admire how clean this city is. Discipline is really in high spirit here. Anyhow, much as I want to leave our office and jump into the tempting waters of Honda Bay, I just can’t. Perhaps tomorrow, we’ll see. So since I am in a very beautiful city, it is just right to talk about beauty. I know, I know this is a beauty blog. LOL.

I've had a quick stop at SM Makati before I flew here last Friday and I've got some goodies which I really don't need but was just curious to try them. These are the Myra Vita Glow (P135) and Etude House Color Me Nude Lip Concealer (P228).

Myra Vita Glow is interesting in such a way that a moisturizer and a make up base were married in this tube. Perhaps, this is the first product I have encountered which has these duo. This comes in two variants (which by the way demanded my time to choose) - the Ivory and Beige. I took the ivory after an unfounded comparison. Gut feeling. Based on its texture, I would say that it is more of a make up base than a moisturizer so for me, it is more appropriate to use it by day and not as an evening ritual as it would really be awkward to sleep with a make up base on your face.

Like the Purederm BB cream, it also has some glitters but they are more "microscopic" than Purederm. You would only notice it if you drive your face closest to the mirror. Working like my BB cream, it helps me even out my face provided I really put in just right amount. It works well with my Ellana foundation. Its price and availability are also the things that make this product a winner!

Lip concealer? Why not! Interesting, right? I first saw this product in a magazine and got curious about it. This product is something that a typical woman would not really need as I think there is not much to even out in your lips except maybe if you are a fan of cigarette smoking. At first, I find it hard to use because it does make your lips look so awfully pale and there are some traces of my dry lips when I apply it. I found it useless until I went back to basic which is to use lip balm first before any other else. Combining both gives a somewhat natural lip color (as the lip concealer has its own subtle shade as well). But best of all, I was happy to discover that my long sitting Mac Pink Nouveau is now useful with the aid of a lip balm and the lip concealer! They made my first Mac lipstick wearable and I don't feel awful while sporting the shade.

And since I was surrounded by mostly guys (yeah, the likes of warehouse and sales men and all), I opted to don a "barely there" make up. Yep, the two products above greatly help me achieve the look!

Purederm BB Cream

I feel naked without a BB cream on my face. Since I started using this a year ago, I already treat this as my holy grail. It is just so magical that I instantly feel flawless after application. I started out with Maybelline, then Skin Food (which I fail to blog), Pure Beauty (which i mistakenly got for Purederm and for me is not worth blogging as it doesn't do justice to my face), and the latest, the real Purederm which I dedicate this piece.

Purederm is a korean brand - the home of the best BB creams for me. It claims a 3 in 1 product with SPF, glittering effect, and skin conditioning.

One thing that is unique about Purederm compared to other products I've tried is the glittering effect in which I am torn between liking and rendering my thumbs down. Good thing the glitters are too "microscopic" making it wearable during the day. On the other note, I also like the glitters as it provides a "glowing" aura provided you don't put too much.

The brightening effect is also impressive considering that you only put a pea-shaped size all over your face and neck. I am a lame and lazy shopper when it comes to looking into the right variant for me, that is why I feel a baggage has been unloaded onto my shoulders when I purchase products with only one variant. Purederm is like Maybelline - both have one shade for all skin types. :D

As to the price, Maybelline is cheaper at 245 php, Skin Food is more expensive at about 1000 bucks (I think) but you can get them through Ebay Korean sellers at 400 only plus the hassle, and Purederm is at the middle price of the two at 645 php. Purederm's price is already a decent one considering the positive effect gives to my face.

Overall, Purederm is a wise buy. It is an essential go-to product at any circumstances that you are into - busy, on the go, has more time to doll up, etc.

Yet Another Ellana Make-up Raid

You will always go back to products that gave you great and positive results. These brands will carve their names on your go-to list, sans the countless choices you have in the market. Ellana make ups made it on my top list. Their products are simply worth your money and definitely something that your face would really befriend. So it is not surprising that one Friday night, I stormed their little space in SM Makati to buy my sweet love foundation. I raved about this product here.

I thought I was only hunting my hazelnut latte foundation when, as usual, I ended up buying some more stuff! Here's what I get with a brief and concise review:

Smile Concealer. This is my first time to purchase a concealer since I am not a huge user of this one. Luckily, I don't suffer the zombie-like effect of eyebags so concealer does not really play an important role in my beauty routine. BUT, I do have this annoying zits in my face which could be a result of my alternating facial wash (which I should stop!) and spotting a concealer at their stall made me decide to try them. This made me happier because I could now use my long forgotten concealer brush. Zits now concealed!

Another purchase was the High Definition (HD) Primer in White Chocolate. This one they claim to blend with all skin types. The finest texture and white color give an impression that it was made from the highest quality. This is best for a finishing touch, as pointed out by the attending sales lady. But I do use this as a primer just as what the name suggests and at the same time a finishing powder. This primer combined with the foundation above deliver a very good result but beware when you use BB cream as your first step. I once did a BB cream, HD primer, foundation, and another round of DH primer and the result was a too white face! I might have applied too much BB cream, or maybe too much primer, or both. But one thing is for sure, it was a bad idea!

I felt bad though that they do not sell individual foundation and eyeshadow brushes to replenish my brush kit from their brand but nevertheless, this Ellana magazine slash cheat sheet made me feel better again. I tell you, it is something that you have to have at hand when you want to make your make up done the right way. How to apply blushes for round face? heart-shaped? small face? They do have an answer!!!

E.L.F. Products Purchases

E.L.F. products come in handy for me when it comes to lazy day for make-ups. Recently, I bought two stuff from the brand: the foundation and masscara.

I resorted to their foundation when I left my VMV back in Bacolod and I was waiting for Ellana stalls in SM Makati on weekend. In short, E.L.F. was my alternative to get through the week. Why this brand? It was not too cheap nor too expensive. It is priced at less than 200 bucks - not too bad for a little round of foundation. The sales lady suggested that I get the apricot variant and I was happy I trusted her pick. The foundation blends well with my other new love BB cream (which I will blog soon). It comes in very handy as well making it easier for me to tuck it in on my over crowded kikay kit.

My next purchase was their two sided masscara which is priced below 200 php as well. Of all the make up essentials, it is the masscara that I really don't spend too much because I can't see the difference for each brand. I lived with Nichido and EB masscara brands and I was happy that never in a single moment when they ruin my total look. I am good with any brands for this eye-flattering beauty essential. What made me try out E.L.F. was the fact that it is a two-sided masscara, with one end as regular and the other as waterproof. i thought this is more practical and again, space-saving on my kit. Same as my previous brands, it worked well for me and flattered my long and curled eyelashes. Yes, it helps boost my asset! :D

One thing was proven. Not all cheap brands suck! :)

Human Nature's Orange and Elemi Facial Wash and Toner

In this piece, I will share my thoughts on my new facial wash and toner tandem from Human Nature. I am a self-confessed fan of this brand. There may be a lot of sprouting organic labels in the market but my heart shouts HN as my first love. Though I love how my face behaves now, I seek adventure at the moment and managed to break in into my usual facial wash and put these products in my facial care routine.

First day of use yielded a bad result! I had break outs with at least five zits sitting on my face when I woke up. Monthly red flag is not yet at the doorsteps so I don’t charge the crime to my unwanted guest. It must be these products since they are the foreign substances that landed on my face recently. It was not a total fiasco though. I had it on my second day still and I was glad that they redeemed themselves. I woke up to a clear face, zits disappearing and not too red, and oil got filtered. I love how it controls the greasiness of my face. Sans this good result, I will still have the next days as my trial period before I can totally say that these products do good to me. J

So why did I give it another shot after those zits? It is my curiosity with the ingredients particularly the elimi that made me pour them onto my hands and cotton balls. Elemi. Wikipedia says it is a tree native to our own land with too many uses. Of course, one of which is for the skin. I do love the “scrubbing” effect as well, making my St. Ives facial scrub useless as of these times. I love the subtle cleansing it gives as opposed to a commonly rugged and rough texture of the exfoliants and scrubs. I smell is pleasing to the nose as well. It is a unique smell that I can only attribute to the these particular products.  But subtle as it may seem , I am worried as to scrubbing my face twice a day. I think it is not a friendly choice.

It is for the scrubbing reason that I alternately use this product with Ilog Maria facial wash. It gets to be my "balancing" factor as this is so mild that I don't think it will do any harm to my face.  :)

...And I Go For Organic Products

The term "organic" denotes a positive feeling for me. When I hear this word, I associate this to products made with love to both nature and humanity. I construe this as my way of helping our local farmers and small entrepreneurs, and shave off some profits from these multinational companies. I love reading products' ingredients which do not have any chemicals on it. It makes them simple, no any complications on it.

It is because of these things that I found myself one time inside a small place in Market! Market! called Sensou (I don't know if I got the name right). There I purchased three products which now replaced my three basic bath companions - shampoo, conditioner, and face soap.

Ask if I like these products? Gah, I adore them! The Human Nature shampoo and conditioner duo are one of the best tandem I have so far for hair care. The smell is very interesting that it reminds me of a fresh orange everytime I feed my hair with the shampoo. One thing that is remarkable is that the shampoo can even be used as a body wash! It only means one thing, it is gentle enough to nourish your skin as well. For me, this is a good sign for a product. The product is also crystal clear unlike the very commercialized shampoos.

The conditioner is my hair's rejuvinator. It is like water to my body whereby it gives my hair a glowing and healthy feel without the bitter effect of chemicals. I am literally in my wash and wear hair now - with a much better result!

I trust their claim. :)

Another great find for me was the Ilog Maria facial soap. This soap, wrapped in just a clear plastic with a simplest name on it, speaks for itself. It does not need any cute or flowery words just to make you buy it. It does not even have a bombastic or too good to be true tag lines that marketings is best known for. Ilog Maria does not dwell its effort on making cute packaging and all - that I am sure of. This soap is transparent that made it more interesting. The reason? They put so much honey and propolis enough for this high-grade soap to claim the word "transparent". I am a science boo boo that I would not know why honey would be best for my face, but through the use of this soap, I know it is an instrumental ingredient in attaining my pimple-free and glowing skin. The smell is oh so pleasing to the nose as well. I tell you, you got to try it! I still have one test for Ilog Maria though to make it my most preferred soap for my face - that is when I have my PMS attack. We'll see. :)

Product Review: NYX Make Up Box

Last Friday, I was depressed when I lost some of my make up toys along with my other stuff. I have scribbled those that I have lost in my other blog. Anyway, on a positive note, I may have lost some of my favorite items but God was so good - He blessed me with another toy! Thank you, too, CareFreeShopper!

On NYX's website, you can find the following description of this make up box:

" All-in-one convenience case for easy and beautiful make-up application whether at home or jet-setting accrosss the world! 16 eyeshadows, 3 blushers, 4 lip colors. Comes with applicators and mirrors."

The case got the basics but of course this is not a true-blue all in one kit (you still need your foundation, mascaram eyeliners, etc, right?). The compact feature makes it a very convenient kit and thus it is so portable for the people on the go!

*16 eyeshadows

The eyeshadow collection is the flagship for me. Sixteen different shades and colors just make the eyeshadow application more exciting. Upon opening the kit, you can easily choose what to mix and match and the combination pattern is less hassle. The shadows are also a good combination of light, dark, shimmery, and dull colors. All of them are wearable, too!

The pigmentation is also commendable and it just put a right amount in your eyes when you sweep them naturally. They also easily blend with each other making your mix and match workable.

*3 blushers

The blushers are wearable also. The set is a healthy mix of shade a barely there, bronze, and hot pink. I use the barely there to tone down my heavy eyeshadow and hot pink if I have a simple overall look. I'm thinking of using the bronze if I decide to get a smokey look Would it match? Hmmm, that I do not know.

*4 lip colors

One thing I noticed about the lip colors is that they have a more decent staying power compared to the NYX RLs. This alone is a winner for me! I tried doing swatches of them but they all look the same. So I guess the the photo below could give more justice to the lippies. It's an equal combination of a safe and wild shade. :)

*Applicators

The applicators are the downside for me as they are very mediocre. I do not use the blusher brush as it is too small and flat. I still use my Ellana brush in applying the blush. The eyeshadow applicator is a normal one. It does serve its purpose but there is really nothing outstanding about it. The lip color applicator is actually a question for me since the design of which is that it is pointer and stiff. This led me to ask if the lip colors above are for lip liner alone or serve as a real lipstick?! Anyhow, I seldom use it and would rather use my fingers when applying the lip colors.

Overall Comments:

The kit is a wise buy for only 850 php! It is best to use if you don't have a particular look in mind and later on play with the combination. It is great for everyday use considering the low key price. After all, that is what NYX is all about!

Product Review: Maybelline's B.B Cream

When I started out exploring the make-up world, I was amused by the discovery of the likes of make-up base, eyeshadow primers, finishing matte, etc. I did not realize that there is really more to make-ups than lipstick alone. Now, I am more than interested to know anything and everything in this area where women dominates.

My new knowledge leads to yet another type of product - the B.B. creams. I originally saw this in one of the blogs but I did not mind roving the mall to get one as I find it as an auxiliary rather as a prime component in my daily make-up routine. But when I visited Watsons last week, I found one from Maybelline. Don't ask me what the double B stands for - I don't know. :p

The product has tempting promises. Eight in one is definitely something that you will get curious with. It does promise to brighten your skin, cover imperfection, and moisturize plus protect your face. Three worst enemies of our face are being countered by one product. Promising? I know it is.

 

Priced at Php 249 in Watsons, I did not mind shedding my two one hundred peso and fifty bills. It is relatively inexpensive and so I can ditch the product if it does not suit my face type.The product's little tube makes it also a portable one where you can insert it comfortably on your vanity kit. It is very handy.

The texture of the product is very likable! It sits fairly between being a fluid type and a dense type. You can apply it on your face in a controlled manner since the texture is very manageable.

Upon applying the cream, I noticed how smooth it blends with your face. It is an instant foundation! Notice also ont he above photo how it covers my skin imperfection - the uneven skin tone and the unwanted redness in my face. On this note, I knew Maybelline delivered its promise. :)

You have to be wary though when you apply the cream as you might love applying them and you will later realize that you put on too much. Take a little time to let the cream set in. In this way, you would see how much have you put in and decide on whether to further the application or not. This is also the best time to

I personally hoped that the oiliness of my face will decline but I did not get such wish. I would say that it is not one that could buster an oily skin. As to the moisturizing part, I really don't feel it in my face. How should a moisturized skin feel like, by the way? :p Lasting power for me is relatively a so-so primarily maybe because i did not stay in an airconditioned room over the past two days that I wear the cream.

Tada! After washing my face with my usual Ponds routine, I directly applied the BB cream on my face and I got the reult above. I love how toned, even, and smooth my skin looks. BB cream is definitely included in my daily routine! It is a must for me!

Product Review: Ellana Mineral Make Ups

Ellana mineral make-ups. I personally think the owner behind this product has a revolutionary mind. I love the idea that she comes head to head with foreign brands with three most distinct winner factors: affordability, quality, and very good customer service. These factors make up a promising business venture.

Ellana encourages that their clients to go to their office so that they can take a look at your skin undertone. One make up tip that I learned from them is that in order to know the best foundation shade for us, one should look into our undertones.  There are warm, cool, and olive undertones. Each has a corresponding foundation shade.

I have warm undertone so my Ellana make up artist recommended the hazelnut latte. Matched with Ellana Foundation brush, the loose mineral foundation glides smoothly on my face. The effect was so natural looking and it was just very flawless. I love how it finishes in my face! The good thing about this one is that you can buy them for as little as 100 php! Yes, 100 php for a mineral make up - how cool is that? :)

Just like the other mineral make ups, I just find it less efficient in applying them because of the very reason that they are loose. The tiny powder forming on your clothes just makes it more time-consuming whenever you apply them. So I do use this if I have ample time to play around. But if I am so tight up, I use my VMV compact powder since I can easily apply it even if I am inside a car.

Next stop are the multi-purpose mineral powder. Why multi-purpose? It is because you can use them as an eyeshadow, a blush, and can even be blended on your lip glosses! Now, this is much, much cooler! What I like about these two shades are basically the effect they give on your eyes and lips. I have used Dainty as a blush but I can't seem to picture out Inspiration as a blush. For me, it is a bit brighter to be used as such. Both give you a very natural look and just shimmers at the right amount. It is best to wear the shades during daytime.

Just like Liz, I also find it hard to get the right amount of lip gloss during my furst few tries with this tube. The worse feeling is when they gush out of the tube giving you a total mess. I learned then that rotating it twice at 360 degrees would give you the right amoun of gloss that you need. Lush lip gloss is now my lip's found friend. The minty feeling makes it distinctive of the other glosses. Lush is best combined with Dainty powder. The duo exudes a sexier lips even on a day time.

The verdict:

The same Ellana Make Up Brush Set, I highly recommend the products to the beauties who seek for an affordable yet very high quality products and gearing for a less harmful type of make up!

Product Review: Ellana Make Up Brushes

I never believed that one should invest on those make up brushes. I thought they are just a waste of money and once the make up product is good, it will definitely be good onto your face. My theory was proven wrong when I had the opportunity to go to Ellana Store at Quezon City. They had that so-called "make-over" thing and that was the time I experienced make-up brush that loves my face. And so without any thought, I grabbed a set of their make-up brushes along with my other purchases (to be reviewed on my next entry!).

These five sticks made up the brush set I got from Ellana. Boy, they are just so gorgeous! Priced at 850 php, it is already very reasonable to get these stuff. The unbelievably soft and gentle glide on your face makes it a run-away winner. And yes, these are not animal hairs (it's a gross revelation for me to know that some are animal hairs! nyay!). I am not an animal lover so it's just gross for me to know that there can be other brushes made of animal hairs!

First stop is the buffer brush which is specially used to apply your foundation. It is a dome-shaped brush making it easier to distribute the loose powder in your face and getting a flawless and well-polished finish. It is also easy to tap off excess powder so as not to make your face like a star in a ghost film. :D

The next brush is the "blush brush". I only knew that you need an angled brush in order to get a smooth and nicely tapped blush on your cheeks. This will definitely save you from a someone-punch-you-with-a-strawberry-jam blush-on look. Because of its seemingly diagonal shape, it distributes evenly the blush powder down to your cheek bone.

On the left is the eyeshadow brush and honestly, I am not sure if the one on the right is the eye contour or the concealer brush! Apologies, I was too excited to buy the set so I forgot to ask them what was it. :D Anyhow, the eyeshadow brush is serving its purpose too well. Because it is relatively small and the hairs are fine with a gradient effect making it easier to apply the eyeshadow thinly and without messing up with the eye liner and the crease area.

I am more convince that the other brush is the eye contour brush as I am using this to apply a different shade on my crease area. It is fuller and wider as compared to the eyeshadow brush understandably because we have wider crease area than the eye lid. I love how the crease shade combines smoothly with my eye lid shade. :)

One drawback of these two is that the hairs are not secured tightly on the handle which gives an irritating feeling everytime you glide them over on your eyes. Some hair strands would loosen out that you need to push them back from time to time. Worse, sometimes you have no choice but to take them out.

I have not much to say about the last member of the set as there is nothing special about it. It's the tool to actually tame your brows and I seldom grip this tool in my hand.

The verdict:
I am a renewed believer of the importance of make up brushes. Invest into it for a more meaningful and enjoyable experience with your make ups! Ellana make up brush set is a good buy except for the drawbacks I mentioned above. Personally, I should have not bought the last member as I find it rather useless, unless there is really a special purpose to it that I don't know. Pardon me for my ignorance. :D But in totality, this is a good buy for me!

Product Review: Urban Decay Face Case

When I first laid my eyes on the photo exhibited on CareFreeShopper, I instantly fell in love with this violet case. It took me ages to resist this but having a dear friend as the seller, you can't help but simultaneously utter the words, "yay" and "nay"! Yay as Armie brought this make-up set on top of what I ordered from her (knowing that I badly want it!) and nay since I can't let it off my hands the moment she handed it to me - it means, I am shedding another 1200 php off my pocket. LOL! Bottomline of it is equals to SOLD.

But it seems like it's not yet time for me and UD Face Case to be partners in crime. When I went back to Manila after my normal weekend Bacolod escape, I realized that I haven't got any make up for my other friend Ermalyn. Since she was asking me to get a blush and eyeshadows for her, the closest that I can hand to her is my new-found love. Another yay-and-nay moment for me!

Nevertheless, I wanted to make a review of this one at least on how I see and feel about it. 

I always believe that the silent salesman of a product is the packaging. And for make ups, I have that biased feeling that every time I see neat and classy packages, I feel that they are good ones. After all, who would want to put their very good products in cheap cases or tubes? :p This UD Face Case is packed in a violet suede texture which puts you in make-up mood whenever it rests in your palm. I love it!

A sneak peek! The rest of the case contains the exciting shades and colors of eyeshadows, blush, and lip glosses. But before we get into the real deal, take a look into the small brush. One this that is good about it is that it is a two-end brush. At first I thought it is solely for the eye shadows but when I checked on it again, the two brushes are not exactly of the same size, length, and thickness. So I supposed, these are for eye shadows and lip gloss. Personally, I would not prefer having the same brush for my different lipstick shades. It's just messy. On the other side, I thought this might be for the inner lid and the crease. Either way, you can use them as a brush - in whatever manner you want to use it. :)

The Face Case's pride! Three shadows, three lip glosses, and a blush just makes it the most compact case I've seen. This is best for the beauties on the go! It is getting rid of bringing all your vanities in your bag especially if you don't know what to wear on your face or if you have two separate events with different mood to go into for a day.
