Office Outfit: Black, White, and Brown

Forgive me for the crappy pictures but I want to drop by and share to you what I wore today at the office. You see, I love "recycling" my current favorite pieces and finding out a new combination is just a joy to behold! The elephant pants was worn here and the sheer top here. This was my re-created look!

sheer top from Bugis, Singapore, Elephant pants from Cash n Carry tiangge, heels from SM Parisian

my Coach laptop bag and my MK handbag.

multi-colored stone necklace

I love the loose on loose ped I had for the day. As Levy pointed out, I look sophisticated while wearing this get up. I should have used a bold belt but thinking that I should be more "formal" in the office, I opted to wear brown instead.

So, it's Friday in nearly 15 minutes to go! Hoooray!

Office Outfit: Black to Black

My friend Ermz and I have this thing of buying exactly the same stuff, clothes particulary, when we see how good they are to either of us. So last Friday, I fell in love with her elephant pants that I needed to have my own the soonest possible time!

Ermz told me she got the pants at one of the tiangges in Cash and Carry Makati (yes, Cash and Carry!). So I went there last Sunday to buy one for myself. I did not expect that the pants will look good on me and that I would be comfortable enough to wear it. I have the biggest thighs on earth so wearing an elephant pants is not a good idea for me. But surprise! I could say that the pants fitted on me well except that it is just too long I need to secretly fold it. :)

I easily spotted the pants the moment I went upstairs (near the cinema)so I immediately grabbed and fitted them. It was a quick buy. Roaming around the area led me to the top I also wore on the above photo. I initially plan to wear a printed top but I thought that a black one with a simple accent would make it more öffice-like. I think the top went well with the pants only that maybe I should have worn a belt. Anyhow, I super like the top. the puffed sleeves with polka dots makes it a very interesting piece.

I sealed this look with an earring I randomly bought from Vente, bangles from Boracay, and a bag from Michael Kors. Shoes is another favorite from Parisian. =)

I love that I love what I wore on a Monday. This means that I am in the mood to dress up for the rest of the week... we'll see. :)

Classic Black Zara Dress

Do you often experience it in your shopping life when the universe just conspires on you and you found a very good buy in a very little time of scouting the mall?  Or you badly need something in a minute and you don't know where to get it but suddenly you found that stuff perfect for your taste? I do, and the most recent was last Thursday when my friends and I decided to attend an alumni at Shangri La Makati at the very last moment. Admittedly, I am one of the girls that freaks out if I feel that I am not dressed well in coming to an event or get together. This is the reason why I am a fan of last minute shopping.

So after locking the decision to finally come to an SGV event with friends, I ran through Greenbelt 5 to score a dress that is appropriate for the event. It should be chic yet very corporate-ly, simple but sophisticated, and best of all a dress that could give me that nice curve and hide my bulges. Too many demands for such a very short time of finding a dress but I am hopeful that I could find one. I found a so-so dress in Bayo but very doubtful to get it so I let it pass and proceeded to Zara without really expecting to buy from there. But lo and behold! I found something that best suits the occasio - a classic black dress! Perfect for the event, really.

Dress: Zara
Bag: Armani Exchange
Shoes: Zara (Not shown)
The dress was on sale and I got it for Php 1700. I didn't have a second thought of buying it because one, it flatters my figure and puts everything in place. Second, it is black and I can accesorize it magnanimously. Third, it is black and very classic that I could wear it in the office. And lastly, it is Zara. I love Zara!

Segway: I actually loved how I dolled up during this event because I guess I made my make up so natural but with some shimmery effect and the big earrings as my accent just made a difference.

I can't help it and so today, I wore it again in the office!

Dress: Zara
Peep Toe Pumps: CMG
Bracelets: Personally Assembled

A closer look at my shoes!

I just love lucky shopping days!

Office Outfit for the Day

I want to make this little documentation of my vanities as well rounded as possible so I thought of sharing my office outfits from time to time. I am a player in a structured jungle called corporate life so most of my days are spent in the office. But this does not mean though that I adhere strictly to the should be business attires. I am done with the blazers and all sorts of "too corporate" wardrobes. Now, I attempt to infuse "kikayness" in my daily outfits without sacrificing the demands of the corporate rules.

Another thing that I want to share these photos is for me also to keep track of my ever growing weight. Lol. I momentarily stayed away from the camera because it felt so depressing but I realized that I have to face whatever "horizontal" challenges I encounter everyday.:D

Anyhow, what I wore today is a dress I got from 168 mall! The price is incredibly cheap that I came out of the stall carrying three pieces of dress! The store is named We (heartshape) Bonz. I got this one at 320 Php I think. Skinny belt is from the other store at 168 mall as well priced at 150 bucks. :) I got the wedge at Jannilyn last April. I love the decent height it gives me without giving me that pain in my calves at the end of the day. Capping my outfit is the Longchamp bag I received as a gift from my boyfriend last year. =)

My hair badly needs an overhaul so I opted for a ponytail eventhough my face's shape is soooo unflattering!

So there it is, my first office outfit post. Good evening everyone!
