This card keeps me coming back to a The Body Shop store:
I guess it is a good form of marketing strategy. Anyhow, during my hiatus days, I have bought good and not so good things. Unfortunately, when my blogging mode started to kick in again, I have completely forgotten about them. But tonight, as I was looking for my lip balm, I spotted this little tube in side my kikay kit and have thought of spending some more minutes in the internet and talk about it. This little tube is Body Shop's cheek tint.
I bought this during those times when I am obsessed to practical make ups and this one just fits the purpose. I wanted to shy away from any powder forms or any texture that would produce undesired flakes on my office wears and those make ups that I need not to take out my brush set whenever I am applying them. Yes, I usually do my make up on my way to the office so it really requires that my stuff are "flake-free".
So back to this product, I love it because it is not a space-eater in my kikay kit. The tube is easily cleaned when dirt is embracing it. These two factors make it a winner for the packaging feature. And oh, white and pink just look so clean together!
The tip is like a "feathery" type just the same as the one for the lip gloss. It is soft so I need not to worry that it might hurt my face. With the right pulse in squeezing it, you'll get the right amount of tint that you need. But unlike the lip gloss with this type of tip, it cannot be used alone, especially when you already have to spread them in your face. The tip is perfect for applying a lip thingie, not on the cheeks. So I end up using my fingertips to lather them in my face (which I think is not hygienic). I have dirty hands you know. :p
I like the pink shade of this product. It is for me a good reference to a "pa-girly" effect. It is not a screaming pink but at the same time it gives you a blush shade that you need in an ordinary day. Another winner factor is that it is not greasy when applied - both to the face and to the hand.
See the pink thing on the photo above? That was it when I wiped off the product on my hand. It stays, really.
So there it is. It is something that I wan to see on my kikay kit especially if I needed an instant doll up. By the way, I got this for like Php 250 when they had their sale. :)

Late Night Long Bath
Can you believe it? I was curling in my bed for at least 17 hours. Yes, 17 freakin' hours! Now, where did my Sunday go?! Ugh. Anyway, I started my day at around 8 PM by snapping some food to fill my orphaned stomach, finished some chips that I left yesterday, and moved on to do Turbo Fire workout. I am starting to love this high intensity work out by the way. I just do hope I will continue to squeeze it on my daily routine for 21 days to officially make it as a habit - ah any exercise for that matter, not just Turbo Fire. :)
So, what is the best thing to do after all the sweats were hugging your body? Of course, jump to the shower! I made sure I have an oh-so nice bath tonight because I really want to feel refreshed and make sure that I at least do my weekly vanity routine.
I had Watsons Repairing Treatment Wax and shower cap to baby my hair. I put on an enormous amount of the wax on my hair to let my hair feel pampered. Why not, I have two tubs of this wax which I got from the famous Watsons' buy one take one. :D I need this home treatment because I swear, my hair now is just as messy as my room. Lol. I am up for another hair treatment but I just really have no time (maybe I should have slashed out my sleep) to sit for long hours at the salon plus I am scouting for another one to try out. Don't get me wrong, I love Ystilo Salon which have been my go-to hair place for two years now but I just want to step on to other salon. There are lots of them, and I want to try other services! Meanwhile, while Watsons wax is not doing a miracle to my hair, it is at least giving a temporary care on my crowning glory. Hair is softer and feels "thinner" breaking off momentarily from the term buhaghag.
After I dried my skin on the fan (yeah, I am not fond of scrubbing my towel onto my skin!), I had the luxury of time and interest to apply my lotion. The weather is nice so I don't worry that I'll feel greasy. I had my Victoria's Secret pure seduction lotion to top my vanity hour. It was a gift from my friend way back in Christmas 2010 - one of the staple gift/pasalubong of balikbayans. :)
So there it is. My Sunday "getaway". :D

Then I opened my bottle of Body Shop shower gel. When I smelled it, I felt I was brought back to year 2004 when I had my first Body Shop shower experience. Yes, it was Body Shop who opened my eyes to the world of my now most loved vanity on earth - the shower gels! I was driven back to the old memories. Yeah, you know that feeling of associating memories on scents? I had a so-called trip down the memory lane while pampering my body with the rich and subtle scent of neroli jasmin. :) I love the fact that it is soap free and I felt how gentle it is on my skin. Really, I love touching my skin now. =) Ah, Body Shop never fails me!

Body Shop Stuff And I Get To Relax
My gawd! It seems like all my energy was sucked out of me at the office. It was yet another whoel day of brainstorming and meetings! Gah, sometimes it's too hard to be one of the brightest in the office. Lol. Good thing I managed to unwind a bit by stepping into Body Shop the last minute before they closed and grabbed some stuff which I actually don't need but just felt the urge to buy them. Believe me, I felt instantly light when I entered their store. Indeed, shopping and vanities are two things which can instantly make me feel good.
Anyway, I won't squander my time blogging as of this moment as my eyes are already shouting for complete darkness! But before that, let me share what I have bought and hopefully, I could have a future post to review and comment on them!

make up remover, salt scrub, shower gel
They are on sale now and I got these for 508 bucks. Not bad! Now I am excited to get a good bath tomorrow and so with this, I am signing off! :)
Good morning everyone! And yes, it's Friday!!!

Body Shop Haul
I was in my hometown back in Bacolod last time to visit my folks. As usual, I went on shopping with my cute nieces to buy them their stuff (believe me, they are as kikay as me!). I also had to go to Body Shop to buy mom her supply of body butter. Yes, she absolutely loves this product! Levy and I got her a box of carefully picked Body Shop goodies last Christmas and this spiced vanilla cocoa something body butter was the apple of her eye!
The smell of the variant I got was eeeekkk! I don’t know if it was because it is an old stock or what but it was just so stinky.
I should have gone there for her body butter alone… but not surprisingly, I managed to grab something for myself! :p I was actually carried away by the saleslady’s effective marketing tongue that I conceded to getting their rewards card. They have this some sort of 15 years celebration so instead of getting the card at 300 php, they offered it at 150 bucks with some loots! Matching the price and the loot, I believe I got a wise buy.
Another perk I got was to access their promo during that weekend which is buying your first product at a regular price then get the second at 15 php. Well, I really did not want to spend a lot for it as I do not need them so I only got their soap which is only like 215 php plus another one (which I let my niece Alsace choose her scent) at 15 bucks.
I shelled out like 800 for all the goodies and membership. I think I got a good deal =)
